This policy explains how 靈機子 handles personal data in connection with the Site. It is intended to be read with our Terms of Service.

1. Data Used for a Reading

Your birth date, birth time, selected birthplace and gender are used in your browser to calculate a chart. We do not intentionally store those raw birth details in a Site database. To restore your result after checkout, your calculated chart may be held in your browser's session storage until you close the tab. This does not create a Site account record.

2. AI-assisted Wording

When AI-assisted wording is enabled, we may send DeepSeek calculated chart features only, such as pillars, element values, time-zone information and rule outputs. We do not send your name, contact details, raw birth date, raw birth time, selected birthplace or payment data to DeepSeek for this purpose. DeepSeek processes information under its own terms and privacy policy, which are outside our direct control.

3. Technical and Security Data

We may temporarily process connection metadata, including an IP address, to prevent abuse and enforce rate limits. Calculated chart features may be held in volatile server memory for up to 90 days to avoid duplicate AI requests, and may disappear sooner when a server restarts. Our hosting and payment providers may process their own security and transaction logs under their own policies.

4. Payments and Support

If paid services are enabled, Stripe processes the contact and payment information you enter on its hosted checkout under its own terms and privacy policy. Our server receives calculated chart features needed to supply the Action Book and creates a chart fingerprint to associate the purchase with that result. We send Stripe the product, price, chart fingerprint and a random checkout reference, rather than your raw birth details or calculated chart. We receive payment status, product and transaction-reference information to verify the purchase and provide access. We do not receive or store full card details.

5. Cookies

The Site does not use advertising cookies. Essential first-party cookies identify a checkout session and verify access to purchased content. They are signed, cannot be read by page scripts and are not used for advertising. A checkout cookie lasts for up to 24 hours. A signed browser-binding cookie and verified purchase access may last for up to 90 days in the same browser. Session storage may hold your calculated chart while the tab remains open. Removing this storage or changing browsers may prevent automatic restoration of your result or purchase access.

6. Purpose, Choice and Retention

Data is used to provide the reading you request, protect the service, provide support, process a purchase and comply with legal obligations. Providing birth details is voluntary, but the Site cannot calculate a chart without them. We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes, subject to applicable legal requirements.
